MDE Kids Gala Performance
Usualmente solo publico fotografias de los eventos, pero en esta ocasion me permito anadir que me siento profundamente orgulloso por el trabajo llevado a cabo por los grupos de ninos y sus maestros (Samuel Barriga, Marilyn Gomez, Erika Gomez y Rafael Castaneda). Sin duda han logrado mostrar en escena que las horas invetidas en el salon de clase bien han valido la pena.
Con todo mi corazon, admiracion y respeto: Felicidades Ninos, maestros y padres de familia por poner en escena un show digno de ser observado y que espero haya despertado en mas de uno, el amor y respeto por nuestras tradiciones.

Red Beat Benefit 2007 (MDE will be there!!!)
Welcome to the RED BEAT Benefit!
For the first time ever, fifteen Chicago-based dance companies join talents in the fight against AIDS on March 11, 2007 to create the RED BEAT Benefit. Through the extraordinary creativity of the directors, over 200 talented performers will present a variety of pieces in jazz, ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, hip hop, and traditional ethnic styles. Ranging from 4 years old through adult, local and professional companies are donating their time and talent to raise awareness and funds for DRA, Dancers Responding to AIDS http://www.dradance.org/.
